We don't bother with it. I don't worship, praise, or pray to the Deist god. I simply agknowledge its existence and what it's done. I don't have any reason to thank it or fear it, just aknowledge it.

Why even waste the brain cells acknowledging it? A god that detached may as well not even exist, and I venture it doesn't.

The more detached you are, the better you are in bed.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

I don't consider the being that set off the big bang and subsequentally, the creation of the universe to be a god at all. It's simply a being that I cannot fully understand, but cannot fully understand everything in the universe without bringing it into the equation. The deist god does not claim to be a god at all. It is simply a celestial being that is capable of bending the laws of the universe, but not able to completely break them.

This belongs here, So I'll say nothing more than that no being did any of that.

I don't believe in any gods, but my favorite is Athena.

(If you stretch it to people with godlike powers that nobody has ever actually believed in, Athena is tied with the Doctor.)

Odin, maybe Víðarr. Though I can't say I have confidence in the existence of either.
