How can evil exist if there is an absolutely Good, absolutely powerful, and allknowing God?

edit:

Good is simply the privation of Evil. As Evil is omnipresent, and God is omnipresent, as these things must, by its all inclusiveness, include each other, God must not, as some wicked men claim, be omnibenevolent, but omnimalevolent. Therefore, having formulated the above, it would appear that Good does not exist. Instead, as God is Omnimalevolent, he includes all degrees of evil, from mildly evil to absolutely evil, ergo, the world is evil because God is absolutely evil. As such, the question is better phrased as 'Why is there Good if there is God?', and the answer is that there isn't, there is only varying degrees of evil, all from God.

The answer to this question is pretty easy.

Hasn't the "question of evil" thread been done to death?

I don't believe in an omniscient God myself, but, Answer: "Good" cannot be defined in these terms. I know what it means to know something, I know what it means to have power to do something. I am not sure I can come to an agreement with anybody on an absolute definition of good, and if somebody was demonstrably all-knowing I would have to assume that they know what good is and that my definition of it is flawed in comparison to theirs.

it turns out that being as powerful as a being can possibly be is basically enough to get free beer on demand, but no more.

You do know that Satan was an angel?

I'm gonna suspend most of my beliefs for a second so I can actually discuss.

God allows it.

To what end, no one knows.

Ignoring the obvious answer, that God does not exist, I'd say it's a case of helping us appreciate good. (More likely he doesn't exist, but details, details)

So everything is evil to a greater or lesser degree?

How astoundingly negative.

The Emperor didn't allow Horus. Even sacrificed his own life to kill him. Take that, G-D!

I don't think so. Evil seems to be the natural state of man, and the natural state of the world, and we defind something its opposite if it diverge, even mildly, from this natural state- for example, we are well, in good health that is, when we depart, in a greater or less degree, from the norm, the natural state of being ill, infirmed, and sick, or if we are rich, we depart, from a greater or lesser degree, from our natural state of poverty. Therefore, we are good so far as we depart, to greater or less, Evil, but this 'Good' is not the total absence of evil, but a degree of it, and absolute good, that is totally free from evil, is impossible because everything is evil.

God does not allow evil, God is Evil, as explained above.
