Postby The Zeonic States » Thu Nov 22, 2012 1:35 pm

Well i have finally returned to dating after losing my last Partner to complications due to Medical treatment and i am looking forward to seeing if i cannot find some one new.

It will be difficult to replace some one i had by myside for almost three Years, lived with, Loved, Shared hopes and dreams and even one whom could relate to my previous occupation but i have hope for the future.

I have a little else to say here i suppose; Well i guess an introduction would work.

I turned thirty three this Year, i served Nine Years in the United States Army. I am pansexual in theory but every person i have ever fallen for was a man, My last Boyfreind and me lived together in our home in chicago for almost two Years until he a Marine in iraq was crippled when a gunship he was repairing fuel tank caught fire and exploded his physical injuries were major but as he was blown clear from the wreckage he survived however the shockwave of the explosion put him into a coma which he never awoke from.

That was Nine month's ago and i finally was told that his internal organs were begining to fail and if even if they were not he was slipping into a vegatative state from which no brain activity would be likely. So after informing his mother of this me, his mother, sister and his younger brother went to Hospital to see him off and well, He was buried last week in the family plot in Virginia.

For a long while i was a spiteful and bitter wreck about this; I survived my tour of front line duty in iraq and eugene get's killed fixing a fucking helicopter in the greenzone? I just couldn't accept that. But here we are and me lamenting and bemoaning this will never change it, I loved him but he is gone and now i am trying to start again but that is tricky due to me being in a fairly serious relationship for almost four Years.

Aw thats so amazing, I need to move to wherever you live. I sadly live in a country where Roman Catholicism is the official state religion and the LGBT 'scene' is practically underground and quite frankly dangerous. :(

What country is that, if you don't mind me asking?

I just dont care whatever country it is, at last there is a sensible Western country. I am so pleased to know that people still fear God and not like modern day Europe, seriously a Swedish school banned the use of gender related pronouns like he, she, him etc. keeping in mind the LGBTs and France says that reference to mother and father must be done away with. Is it not the beginning of an apocalypse?

There are a number of them -- Sweden, Britain, Germany...
(Note: Not referring to LGBT-related laws in them.)

I am so pleased to know that people still fear God

There are something like 2.1 billion Christians. Remind me, what are we meant to worry about?

and not like modern day Europe, seriously a Swedish school banned the use of gender related pronouns like he, she, him etc.

A good idea in theory, but in practise, while not harmful, depending on exactly what they did it may not be overly beneficial. Your point?

keeping in mind the LGBTs and France says that reference to mother and father must be done away with.

In legal documents not general vocabulary, IIRC. There are many single-parent, adopting, or same-sex-parent households so it helps simplify things.

Is it not the beginning of an apocalypse?

Nope.

An apocalypse of awesomeness, perhaps.

Seriously. It's about damn time we start deconstructing the binary, and not forcing our children to conform to it is a great way to start off.

Not acknowledging differences in gender is forcing your children to conform. We are individuals and as such we are all different, but A is still A. There are men and there are women (different types for sure). Forcing children to ignore their individual differences (not just physical but emotional and psychological) causes unnecessary conflict with their inherent personalities.

Swedish doesn't HAVE gendered pronouns (neither does Turkish, for example; not all languages do).

If an individual doesn't fit into gender binary it does not mean it's invalid.

But it does mean that it's not a binary, now doesn't it? By virtue of its name, it precludes other possibilities, and such a rejection results in severe harm and discrimination, so.

It is binary for the vast majority. We are actually a small percentage of the population.

As I pointed out before, there are many languages in the world which don't distinguish their pronouns by gender. This does not stop people from considering themselves male or female. You're being a little silly.
