Nice backtrack, but that's not what the implications of your earlier quote are.
But this point, however, is still wrong. There is no absolute standard.
No, because if the "morality" came from anywhere except God there is a chance of it being wrong.
Yes, there is an absolute standard. Denying it does not mean it does not exist.

morality is a human invention, every species that invents it will have its own morality.
there is a chance your chosen god is wrong, therefore so would be the morality.

True. One explanation for our propensity to see and hear things that aren't there may be evolutionary (she said, cleverly sliding the thread back on track). The hairy little guy on the East African plain who scampered up a tree at the rustle of the wind in the grass that wasn't a leopard lived longer than hairy little guy who didn't scamper when it was a leopard. He who's a scaredy-cat today lives to ... ahem ... pass on his genetic material another day.
"One of the mating strategies we've found out about is that the males act like females so that they can remain in close proximity to the female via camouflage", he says.
"These are generally the smaller cuttlefish that don't act aggressively".

correct, the cost of a false positive was much MUCH less than the penalty of a false negative, so evolution would favor a system prone to false positives.
