If anything, I'd expect the Christian group to do that, considering I've never seen such numbers or percentage from them in any other poll. Besides, vote-rigging would surely be ok with Jesus as long as they advanced the goal of showing greater support for him than the atheists.

Honesty and integrity are central to the teachings of JC. If anyone is vote rigging it's atheists, with the lack of morality and whatnot.

As for NSGs Christian majority - it tends to be silent. And it's little wonder because I speak out and get persecuted for my efforts. http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=207346&p=11519029#p11519029

The simulacrum is collapsing.
You will soon be incapable of believing.
There isn't much that can be done to stop this process beyond shutting down your reasoning faculties.
Just know that you can understand and have awnsers, and more importantly, questions, from within the atheist mindset.

Soon, when you talk to god or whatever, instead of it feeling as if someone else is responding, or feeling his presence (A simulacrum) you'll notice that it is, and always was, just you.
Your own thoughts rebounding off the edge of your consciousness etc.
The collapse of the mental construction which you have ascribed certain thoughts and actions to and such.
It's no different to the personification of other parts of nature, or in a midly troubling case, a lot of pets.
While I no doubt love my pet, I can't deny many of the thoughts, feelings, etc, I ascribe to her are as a simulacrum i've constructed to project onto her. She probably doesn't think half the things I think she thinks, etc.

If you want an in depth analysis of what you are going through, and what you can expect to go through, watch this video series.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12rP8ybp ... D163BE880A

This is potentially the best video series to de-convert someone from christianity (Perhaps even religion in general, but he is a christian), and involves an in-depth psychological study of just what god is.
It's you. You've decided to elevate your opinions to the status of all powerful deity because humans are rife with hubris.
Be glad you are sufficiently humble to begin to notice you have been deceiving yourself.
He admits to something i've noticed a lot of ex-christians and deists end up believing, namely that Jehovah must obviously be satan (Wrote the bible to deceive us), and the pantheistic/deist deity is the true god that is present in nature and such. This is the death throws of the belief trying desperately to justify itself.

I'd also recommend atheists watch this series. It comes from a deconverted christian and he points out several things we often do that aren't helping to de-convert people. (There is no silver bullet, the belief system supports itself, you need to hit each pillar.)

There is an out of control trolley speeding towards Jeremy Bentham, who is tied to the track. You can pull the lever to cause the trolley to switch tracks, but on the other track is Immanuel Kant. Bentham is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Critique of Pure Reason. Kant is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Principles of Moral Legislation. Both men are shouting at you that they have recently started to reconsider their ethical stances.

People dont just have faith in things. We aren't psychologically able to without some serious trauma inflicted and conditioning. Unless you are some kind of abuse victim from a person who beat you every time you asked a question, I can assure you your faith isn't grounded in faith. (And in those cases, it's grounded in fear of reprisal, not in itself.)
The other things you forgot? Well, then if you forgot how do you know he isn't talking about them?

Evidence for this? Given that 10.6% of prison inmates across America's 50 states have no religious affiliation, as compared to 16.1% of the American population not having any religious affiliation, if anything, atheists seem to be more moral than the average, eh?

You only got banned for flouting forum rules. If I were to say what you said and switch Christian with atheist and vice versa I would definitely get banned for the exact same trolling offense too. The mods represent a variety of religions (yes, Christianity included) and lack thereof, in case you're wondering if they are all atheists.

Nope, totally independent.

And little faith in the bible, I would have to translate the scrolls myself.
