Please. NASA screwed up. We were launching in a field in December in Wisconsin. It's expected that something will go wrong, just as it's expected that the senior team will steal the designs of the freshies.

Now, the parachutes, those were mistakes. Or problems with the motor. Or both. It's hard to tell when the rocket landed across approximately twenty feet squared.

Biggest mistake in club history=miscalculating the drag coefficient for an SLI rocket (actual NASA thing) and sending it a mile above target during launch in Alabama.

NASA was pissed.

We eventually got it to 70 mhz. It was only rated for 33 Mhz overclock back in the day. Predictably bad things happened.

Because they can only keep the airspace clear to a certain height, or something like that. I don't know. It was before my time.

Assuming the moon's gravity didn't just pull you back, in the time it took you to get back to Earth at any possible speed without a spacecraft, you'd run out of food, water, air, and probably power for your suit, and even if you overcame this you'd probably burn up as soon as you hit atmo.
