Should spec ops be allowed to go back to civilian lives?
They might have been exposed to traumatic experiences, so what do you think?

Special Operation's? Special Operator's? You do realize SEAL's are Spec Ops right? And Yes, they should.

I'd have to say that I think that it depends on the individual. There are some people that can bounce back from trauma very well. Others may have a tougher time of it. Or they hadn't had traumatic experiences at all. It depends on the situation.

No, special operations are generally secret and exposing to civilians will cause it to be released to enemy, who will gain knowledge about the operation...

They should be able to relax. After all the work they've done for their country, veterans should be able to rest.

Of course they should. What are you going to do otherwise? Lock them up in iso 24/7 until the day they die? Put a bullet in the skull of a man who risked life and limb for his country? Force him to stay in the service until he either gets killed or offs himself? And besides, what if they decide you're full of shit? Then you've got a member of one of the best fighting groups in the world on your ass, with nothing to lose and a very personal bone to pick.

I'd hate to have a special forces member chasing me down. And that's the best case scenario. You could have the entire team chasing you.

Indeed. The idea of not allowing a soldier to go home is shocking, offensive, probably terrifying to the soldiers and their families, inefficient, and when you're including extremely well trained troops in that number, the stupidest idea one could think of.

Who in their right mind would join special forces if they knew they wouldn't be allowed to go home? I wouldn't even in my left mind.

member of spec ops not only shuold be allowed to retire but once they did so they should be honored for what they did so far.. besides, no one who can't recover well from traumas is normally accepted in spec ops..

If anyone in my military is traumatized they are killed.

Yea, often spec ops just get forgotten. And I do agree with the trauma. They do deserve respect for going through all of that.

Participation in the military should be a literal lifetime commitment, except for those who become conscientious objectors after they join. That way, the military's pernicious values cannot infect a free society, and perhaps fewer people will join to boot.
The American Legion is a neo-fascist terrorist organization, bent on implementing Paulinist Sharia, and with a history of pogroms against organized labor and peace activists and of lynching those who dare resist or defend themselves against its aggression.

It's not French,it's not Spanish,it's Inyurstan
"Inyourfaceistan" refers to my player/user name, "Inyursta" is my IC name. NOT INYURSTAN. IF YOU CALL INYURSTA "INYURSTAN" THEN IT SHOWS THAT YOU CANT READ. Just refer to me as IYF or Stan.

NO OFFENSE BUT...
You've appeared somewhat unwilling to elaborate on the logic behind your argument several times, which doesn't help.
