Yes, a punditry show. Not news. Just like no one is complaining about Rush Limbaugh, who also has a show, being the news. Because he's not and he's not claiming he is. FOX News programs are masquerading as news.

Election day doesn't mean you can go off on the trollish political nicknaming. You're welcome to dislike the Tea Party, however things like the bolded are not cool. Knock it off, lest you find yourself on the business end of a banhammer.

Dude in a Bain themed election ad, rather than face the stark realities of his situation and how the policies of the various candidates could address the situation, the Romney campaign decided to shout "NOT IT!" really loud and quickly by playing a semantic shell game to make sure that technically their candidate wasn't directly involved.
Just one of the many poor reactions that sank the Romney campaign faster than anything the opposition could have hoped for.

But Rush isn't on FOX. Chris Matthews is on MSNBC, and MSNBC claims to be a source of news. Point?

Sure, but there is no proper name for a faction which calls itself a "party". Would "Tea Partisans" be acceptable?
Yeah. The problem is when the moniker is clearly intended to be insulting and provocative. "Teabagger," as amusing as that joke was over a year ago, is clearly meant to be incendiary. Something like 'Tea Partisans" or just "Tea Partiers" lacks that additional connotation.

Did they say "1, 2, 3," and put their finger on their nose?

Your mom.
My mom said "cracker boxes". Pay attention.
I got warned for doing almost exactly the same thing to Gravlen on the old forum. I figured I'd make sure they get that you're joking. Plus, some modms like it when we poke them.
