No offence though ;) But Maccy D's is serious business. Customers must be srs about food.

Oh yeah, in chains you have to deal with the dickheads all the time, whether they're sober or not.
Guys from small takeaway shops almost always take it in good humour.

You got that right. Although the week after I finally left, I took great satisfaction in becoming one of those dickheads. And I have to tell you, it felt phenomenal.

I have a lot more respect for the late night takeaway stores though, the operators know exactly how to deal with their clientele.

Well obviously. You think people can go to work drunk or fucked up on prescription drugs as it is now? Course not.

Much healthier seeing that cannabis is actually used as MEDICINE and PAINKILLERS and IT DOESN'T KILL YOUR BRAIN CELLS.

You may be mixing up alcohol with tobacco. I do. Ultimately tobacco does kill brain cells by reducing oxygen supply, but alcohol goes right at them. Alcohol kills off all sorts of cells, but the body as whole can handle that in moderation because most cells die and are replaced anyway. Neurons don't, so alcohol consumption reduces brain mass.

You can still stay quite smart, if you use what remains, but if you want to stay smart and get smarter in the future then drinking alcohol is a bad idea. Any amount.

Personally, "being smart" isn't the prime directive of my life. So I drink alcohol because it is fun and legal, and rather cheap. I'm a far-gone addict of nicotine, non-tobacco-smoker, and that is neither fun nor cheap and some day I may sue those dealers for what their bitter-tasting lollies have done to my teeth.

I'm not joking. This is straight from the poop deck.

I want better drugs. I try to stay within the law, I try to stay healthy, but dammit I'm going to have fun whether it's legal, whether it's cheap, or whatever it does to my health.

I could (and have done in the past) submit myself to doctors to prescribe for me. The prescribed drugs were sometimes fun but really I shouldn't have to fake symptoms and I shouldn't have to pick doctors (corrupting their profession in the process) to get the good stuff. Pharmaceutical companies are manufacturing fun stuff, while evading legal responsibility and charging extortionate prices by selling it as "medicine".

Fuck that shit. Free the drugs. Legalize it all, perhaps by stages, but legalize it all and globally. The worst drugs, the ones most debilitating to health or spirit, will simply fall out of use when better alternatives are available. Try to keep me down, I'm a fucking witch.

People walk around drunk all the time. People who are high are a lot less irritating, less loud and not aggressive.

Yes they do but it's called public intoxication. For the less irritating thing, that depends on the person. I know people who get high a lot and I hate their guts. They are loud about it, they act like everything they do is funny like when they hit people or make them mad. I just want slap those guys across the face. Having to put up with irritating people that aren't actually causing you any physical harm or putting you in any danger is one of the inconveniences you would have to put up with in a free society. Sounds horrifying.

Wasn't my main idea. Just I was putting it out there. Try reading my other reasons. I don't really care about myself having to deal with irritating people. It's life. Telling me that's how it is because I'm in a free society is unnecessary. I've lived in the United States long enough to understand that. My point is the influence of bad acts against children. Possibly poor decision in the workplace or other important topics.

Sorry used the wrong word.

Sure. I'd legalize marijuana. Making tobacco an illegal substance would be a problem though. I would have them both regulated for the protection of citizens but outlawing tobacco would cause more problems than it would solve. Just look at the prohibition of alcohol and the cartels that created and the current "War On Drugs" and the Mexican cartels that's created. People should be properly educated on the dangers of taking specific substances but they should be free to do what they want with their own bodies. I would also put a lot of funding into the research of the effects of drugs.

You may have a point. Obviously the brain does grow for a while, or else there would need to be something else in there to take up the space as a baby's skull gets bigger into a child's skull and then a little bigger into an adult's skull.

It's just something I read somewhere, some time. Neurons aren't as good at regenerating as other cells are ... maybe I exaggerated.

Or maybe MRI scans are the work of the devil, and we all have tiny little brains but lots of space inside our skulls for the soul. You can't prove I'm wrong.
