So is spanking.

I have yet to see (in person or on the news) anyone's spankings cause bodily harm. Every time that I have seen cases of bodily harm, it was not from what I call "Spanking".

Protip: spanking is by definition bodily harm. It involves the application of physical force to the body, thus harming it.

It's funny because some if what I read, these researchers were saying spanking actually increases a defiant attitude in a person, so if one is to think that's correct then not being spanked tends to lead someone to be more servile...

Stockholm Syndrome is specific to abduction. Besides, you already empathize with your parents to begin with because, well, they are your parents. Children tend to love their parents and vice versa.

If that's the case then you have it too, surely your parents had to enforce some sort of punishment besides spanking for you to listen.

Also, I would like to point out that my parents don't always spank me. In fact they've stopped a long time ago as I've said in a previous post. I still get an occasional slap if I perhaps bad mouth my mother, and if I'm bad mouthing my mother maybe that's a sign that I'm making a decline and spanking should be reinstated.

It's quite accurate. After all, how can someone be so pig-headed to think that they are the only right person in a thread where everyone else clearly is wrong? It would be like you stating the Earth is flat when it quite clearly isn't.
