Not only that, but this isn't a porn site. Porn has no place here. It contributes nothing. If I want porn I'll go to 4chan because that's what it was made for, not NSG.

Yeah, porn on NS... no

Again, to bring up the definition of porn is a must.

These type of things depend on circumstance and definition, which always brings up confusion, complication, and conflict.

Me is getting ideas on perhaps a big thread for debate on the most popular potential endorsed candidates in the future, but that will have to be overlooked and decided upon by the mods, as they control how the situation goes.

But I might just rather not get too serious about this, as it'll probably never go in my favor.

Please, you've got a much better shot at becoming a mod than I. You've been nominated by several players; I've been nominated by myself. Plus, I've only got a couple hundred posts in NSG.

Heck, I'd nominate you, I just can't imagine that you'd be happy modding.

Well thanks, that actually kind of lifts me up a bit. You're very nice.

I do kind of come off as rather uninterested, but that's only to avoid cockiness.

I have a feeling the fact that I honestly take a humble stance opposed to being all, "OMFG nominatez meh or di!!!" betters my chances. That's not to say I'm purposely doing this to fool anyone, it's just how I act in these situations.

I'd be happy modding, I'd love to see how it'd go and bring a new face to it. It's just that I'm less huge on gaining endorsements because I want to come off as who I really am, or at least try hard to be--humble and content.

That's great. In that case, I'd love to see you bestowed with the Modly Powahs. It would be fun, to say the least. :)

I hope I'm not coming across as pushy and whatnot, I just see myself as an underdog, and I'm trying to get all the support I can.

Can't say I'd support anyone with an excessive tendency towards spamming threads about moderation.

I have a feeling I know what you're referring to, and I regret deeply doing that. I didn't intend for it to be spam, but it came off as such, and I take full credit for that mistake.

But excessive? I don't think I come off as that, perhaps before it was made clear I did, I remember a discussion on F7 in which many of us were debating which ceased when the issue of spam in Moderation was brought up, but other than that and the time after I don't believe I have.

If I were to be considered, I'd hope the mods involved (especially the ones who were involved with said posts) would trust in me that those instances will never occur again, as I have learned and am fully willing to learn, and admit mistakes without trying to cut around the edges.

I hope that clears things up for you, if you're referring to me that is.

I'm not sure what you mean- this thread is designed for people to discuss why they or their nominees should be considered for "modhood."

And it got pretty spammy, about 5 pages ago.

And - it's not a popularity contest - it doesn't matter if 97 people 'vote' for x, y, or z - the mods will make the decision.

I'd say GnI, because he seems to be generally level headed, and doesn't get persoanlly involved.

I nearly nominated myself based on my mod experience, but Moderating the Dragon Tavern forums and then saying you're ready to moderate NSG is like driving three laps around a go-kart track, and saying you're ready to drive the 24 Hours of Le Mans
