Britain should export more rugby into America instead of the other way around.

In order for my school to play rugby, we have to travel to Sacramento in the middle of fucking no where just to play a game. Thank god rugby will be in the Olympics in 2016, so its popularity in the States will increase.

As an American when I heard about the NFL being in Britain I thought to myself "wtf the British don't give a dam about our type of football." I don't think the NFL should go into other countries as it most likely won't catch on at all and might even make Americans disliked a bit more.

NFL should expand into Mexico. American football is growing in popularity there.

Look at America, we have a variety of sports that are popular, from baseball, basketball, hockey, motor sports, football, soccer. The addition of American football to Britain will just make sports culture of the UK more diverse.

There's also several other sports played in Europe. But none of the other footballs are as big as association football.

I don't necessarily see what's so bad about using the word "soccer".

It sounds too sucky :P

Ironically, you can blame the British for Americans using the term "soccer."

Though I find this whole "waaaugghh our sport is better than yours" nonsense to be amusing. Although, really, *anything* is better than the NHL right now. :(

Invading and/or bombing other countries makes America look bad. Sending American athletes abroad just causes a collective "eh" which is probably a Canadian import :P

7's is a form of union. Close enough. Still 7's is better than nothing.

Okay, I take it back. What I meant was that American football become popular in Europe isn't going to hurt Europe in any way.

Yeah, you guys are diverse. But according to our rather misleading sports channels, all you have is soccer, or association football, as one might say.
