To be fair, he is actually kind of correct. HIV is more easily transmitted by way of penetrative anal sex than penetrative vaginal sex, and gay men typically prefer the former to the latter. However, this doesn't take our good friends in the lesbian community into account, who have a very low rate of HIV transmission associated with their bedroom activities.
