Well, actually, you don't need to prove it, because my own intolerance on this forum demonstrates perfectly why Atheists shove their beliefs down others throats.

Talk to the Christians in the Far East and Saudi Arabia or former soviet Christians if you want to know what it's like to be persecuted. YOU ARE NOT PERSECUTED, YOUR AN AMERICAN EVANGELICAL BEING TOLD THAT YOUR ARGUMENTS ARE DUMB.

That's not persecution. Even insinuateing that it is makes my blood boil.

Not to take away anything from their suffering but within context of the 'pen being mightier than the sword', our level of persecution is equal, if not greater, as is being institutionalized at all levels.

We are constantly being shut down for expressing our views on even the most basic issues regarding family, marriage, life, climate and society in general. It has now become 'hip' to disregard and insult centuries of tradition and values in pursuit of this new-age cultist interpretation of "equality".

These people see all the technological and scientific advances that have made our lives easier and take the teachings of JC for granted - yet when a big storm comes along and the power goes out, then it's the old "Please, God..." again.
Pro: #FreeCrimea, justice, peace, LGBTIQ rights, love, choice, YOLO, God, separation of church and state, hugs, equal rights, most NSG moderators
Anti: war, hypocrisy, imperialism, homophobia, guns, inequality, racism, sexism

One I remember is they blamed the war in the middle east on the extremism of Christianity. Another one was they caused the scientific repression of the middle ages.

Thats the thing. I know Christians who get angry when you say the WBC is Christian. Heck, even with Mormons some get upset.

But, westerners so easily put terrorists in the muslim category, even though we don't claim them as our own; they do not represent Islam nor are they welcomed by us.

I can think of a lot of them:

- Crusades (killing innocent people over a stupid piece of land)
- Racism (they actually justified slavery and segregation)
- Discrimination (anti-LGBT, racist, anti-secularism, etc)
