Don't you tell me you don't remember when I swindled those merchants from Bactra, and you didn't receive the camel-wool carpet they had promised you. You almost had them beheaded when I popped up with the carpet, and pleaded (quite successfully) for their lives. I needed them, their camels and their donkeys to carry all the books I had stashed under Cyrus' tomb.

Oh, that. Yes, but that wasn't exactly you trading in camels but more like stealing them. Or their hair. I'm trying to remember why I ordered a camel hair rug. *think* No, it wasn't a rug, it was supposed to be a camel hair cape. very warm and waterproof, you know. And whatever happened to all those books? Did they burn up in that fire?

My evaluations always turn me up as Lawful Good at the border of being Neutral Good, and I like to think of myself as the voice of reason. I do occasionally end up sounding like a preachy do-gooder, though.

I suppose some character examples would be Anzu Mazaki (Yu-Gi-Oh!), Nausicaä (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind), and Alphonse Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist). I tend to look up to characters, such as Lucrezia Noin (Gundam Wing), Riza Hawkeye (Fullmetal Alchemist), and Alice Malvin (Pumpkin Scissors).

Stealing, what an ugly word... more like "strongly encouraging people to trade favours via a very open interpretation of the concept of personal property".

Yup, yup. Real boon in the Sarmatian winter.

And whatever happened to all those books? Did they burn up in that fire?

Most of them. :( Although I had some copies stacked safely away... at Montecassino! DAMN!
That time I arrived in time though. I was a weird sight, pedaling on a tricycle stacked with books and rolls of papyrus... but Italians and Germans alike had their minds on other stuff in those days.

Yes, un mantello di pelo di cammello, very snug and a lovely rhyme, too.

You did what at Monte Cassino in 1944? I thought Col. Schlegel and Capt. Becker of the Panzer-Division Hermann Göring took care of the manuscripts at the start of the battle.

Nah, if you do that people notice you and start trying to involve you in 'heroics'.

If we're doing the TV tropes things, it's quite depressing how much this one rings true.

Usually the one that represents my 'morals' and ideology in a movie, book, game, etc.
Funnily, that's usually the bad, or at least 'Neutral (Evil)' side-character guy ...
Or at least the mad/crazy kind of person. I identify myself with both genders, usually.

Generally said, I love watching movies about vigilantes, whether they are psychos or not.
