Whoa.
ה. וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכָללְבָבְךָ וּבְכָלנַפְשְׁךָ וּבְכָלמְאֹדֶךָ:
5. And you shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your means.
Deuteronomy 7:5.
יח. לֹאתִקֹּם וְלֹאתִטֹּר אֶתבְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ וְאָהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ אֲנִי יְהוָֹה:
18. You shall neither take revenge from nor bear a grudge against the members of your people; you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
Leviticus 19:18

Pretty sure he couldn't read. And you have to understand, Christians were Jews. In fact according to the New Testament, Jesus didn't teach Gentiles, in fact it wasn't until after Jesus's death that Peter started to teach Gentiles. So, of course he's going to quote the Tanakh.

How do you figure he couldn't read?
Also the original poster said Jesus's Statement.

Well, only 2 or 3 of the apostles actually ever wrote anything down, Jesus didn't write anything we have record of. I also doubt a carpenter could read back then, much less his step son. And the he quoting the Tanakh, is Jesus in my post.

I believe in a soul, I'm probably pro-gay marriage but in most cases anti-abortion. Also, I see little difference between different types of Christians or even between Christians and Jews.
Are there any other theistic Christians here who have beliefs that aren't mainstream in your denomination?
(Also, no anti-Christian flaming please.)

I am a Non-trinitarian Baptist. I believe in God Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and believe that each of them preform separate functions, and I believe in all 3 of them. But I do not believe they are the same being.
