Because Trump is doing this on purpose, knowing Obama won't even acknowledge him.
And as I've stated before, Obama has nothing to hide.

Why don't you want charity to have an unrecordable amount of money?"
I'm not sure if you know this, but that is, in fact, not a violation of any right.

Yes, dear, I admit I'm not as rich as Mr. Trump. The donation is not the real point. The real point is that he's trying to embarrass the President in the final weeks of an election campaign. That's all it is. If Donald Trump wants to make a very large donation to charity, let him do so, without ridiculous conditions.

I've never heard of that right.
Anyways, if Obama rejects the offer, it's on Obama. He can reject it, if he wants, or he can accept it.

The problem is it's incredibly wrong to harass a candidate in such a manner. If Obama has to release his college records (which is none of our damn business anyways), Romney should have to release his too.
And that's the point. It's none of our business and we shouldn't be harassing any candidate or whatever damn grades he got.

And, what about how Obama aired the ad about how he "kinda sorta killed a man's wife?" Is that not the same, if not worse?Samuraikoku wrote:Abatael, you have a history of ignoring my sources. I assume you will do the same with this as well?
Why would I address it? I never claimed Obama had something to hide.

I remember this event recorded, about all these rich men dropping in bucketloads of money, while a widow dropped in two coins of very little value in the donation box.
I seem to recall which was the more... impressive gift.
'So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.'

1. Source please
2. That's not really Obama's fault now is it? I'm not seeing what that has to do with this issue of Trump dangling five million in front of charities and getting their feathers ruffled.
Now please explain why Obama should have to be coerced into giving up private, not really sealed, and not of our business grades that he earned in school so Trump can supposedly donate money to a charity.
EDIT: DAMN QUOTE CODE!

Ah, that one. Nothing to do with this. If you want to trade ads with lies in them, there's the Three-Ring Circus Megathread.
