With the 2012-2013 NHL campaign already underway, and the Canadiens off to a hot start winning their first 5 games, I figured we should get a hockey thread going!
...
Or, you know, complain that Buttman and the owners aren't willing to take anything less than 57 percent of league revenue and are willing to sit an entire season (again). Or that the players and Fehr aren't happy taking less than 50 percent of the league's revenue after having their cut slashed to end the last lockout.
Either one's fair game. I moved to Buffalo with the expectation that I'd get to see moar hockey in a "real" hockey town ("Herp da South don't has sno, wai dey plays hockey derp"), and so far I get squat.
To start the discussion: Do you believe that an agreement can be reached before the Winter Classic? What happens if a labor deal isn't done by then?
(Obviously, the answers are "No" and "Year-long lockout," but I'm willing to hear other opinions.)
