Having read the article, it's not an alien thing, it's a plan for a stealth plane. Apparently the AF thought that a saucer shaped plane would be harder to detect by Radar. Not a bad theory, but the propulsion systems are not quite up to snuff.

So - Stealth Jet? Yes
Flying Saucer? No
