They are already 3d party in charts...

Right-wing wankers holding the 3rd place in polls in a country's political system is unfortunately not uncommon in Europe. Look no further than France, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Turkey, Poland and, if I'm not mistaken, Denmark. It's unpleasant but fortunately, far from a seizure of power.

Protagon.gr and pontiki are well-known Greek news sites. However if you look at the actual polls, Golden Dawn has 10,5 % of the vote, which really isn't that much.

My bad. I don't actually know Greek, and given Melas' record, I just figured he ass-pulled again.

At least SYRIZA is in the lead now, right?

I believe soon the people will soon have to step up and govern themselves, obvioulsy the people is'nt happy with the way the goverment is doing things, something have to give, truth is people do not need to be governed, it's their choice, if they want to appoint a president or head of state, it's not up to secret societies or monolithic cults to decide for the people, and then turn around and manipulate their systems, to hurt and enslave them, truth and trust has to be the key, first and not last love, rich is getting richer, and the poor getting poorer, with notes called money, they can't eat or drink to survive, that's plainly imprisonment, without the people noticing it. Europe needs to swiftly shrink the goverment power down to size, to much power is being abused, and it needs to be addressed, every politician, supreme court, city councils, to even local law enforcement needs to be audited and watched closely, power abuse needs to found and taken seriously, because the abuse is hurting the people, and the people is'nt taking no more pain. I say start with the banks, audit them to the fulliest, hire if needed observers, trustworthy observers, a system is'nt bad until a cancerous mind step in to manipulate to whole thing. I say make more prison room for these criminals who is part of this whole thing, also hire if needed observers to every freemason branch, church, and any other religous organization, all the down to social workers and further down if so. my opinion! :(

Lets play a fun game!

No, really. It's great fun!

European countries with a higher per-capita ratio of immigrant population than Greece

  • Holy See *
  • Andorra *
  • Monaco *
  • Luxembourg *
  • Liechtenstein *
  • San Marino *
  • Switzerland
  • Latvia
  • Estonia
  • Austria
  • Ukraine
  • Croatia
  • Cyprus
  • Ireland
  • Moldova
  • Germany
  • Sweden
  • Belarus
  • Spain
  • France
  • Netherlands
  • Britain
An asterisks (*) denotes countries where this is largely caused on account of unique circumstances (Minimalistic size, mostly, leading to neighboring countries having a huge influence), but which I listed, anyway.

What does it tell us that a huge number - the vast majority of the EU, really - of countries better off also have higher immigarnt populations, yet are way better off than Greece?

Well.

  • Immigrants aren't even remotely keen on emigrating to bankrupt countries incapable of governing themselves. You know, like Greece
  • Immigrants actually work, and thus participate in the wealth-generation of their host countries - unlike, say, the native Greeks
  • The native Greeks, despite 'Enjoying' one of the lower immigrant populations in the EU, would rather blame evil immigrants for their woes rather than actually, ya'know... Do some work themselves
  • This leaves us to conclude that the Greeks are incapable of halfway decent system analysis, and hence, aren't too bright
  • People who aren't too bright have, historically, shown a tendency to vote extremist factions. Greece provides yet another example of this

While I agree about Immigrants not being a problem, you're really generalising, racist and awfull towards Greeks and I demand you take that back.We aren't all fascists you know,au contraire, most of us voted for centre-left and left-wing parties in the elections and consider neoliberalism our main enemy ..not immigrants.

also, fyi,Germany is the birthplace of modern philosophy ...and they voted for Hitler.

Plus, aren't Germans actually whiter than Greeks, because of the lack of constant sunlight and Mediterranean climate?...

yes, actually, when Golden Dawn members went to Germany to meet their ideological brothers of NDP they got beaten by them because their "comrades" considered them inferior ..hilarious.

That's the one thing I like about aggressive nationalist and Neo-Nazi groups when they meet each other. Instead of uniting, and forming a credible threat to society as a whole, they just kick lumps out of each other, call each other "scum" and "untermensch" and then go home.

Long may it continue.

well,as long as stupidity exists in humans...

Vandahar wrote:So many generalizations here. Even after conceding that there are exceptions, you cannot simply say immigrants are like this, Pakistani's do that, Albanians are like this. So some Pakistani's did a bad thing (allegedly). Congratulations. Greeks do to. In fact, have you considered the fact that your perception of immigrants in Greece is so negative only because you want them to be someone to blame?

Immigrants are not the source of Greece's problems. The catastrophic failure of the Greek economy is due to partisan politics and gross mismanagement. And even if you are so desperate to have someone other than the Greeks themselves to blame, what are you going to do about it? Send them all packing? The way things are going in Greece they will soon by choice be leaving by en masse anyway.

This is all that fascism is, shouting and marching, making a big noise and not offering a rational solution.

I actually stood for Immigrants in this discussion you must be directing this to someone else.

Exactly, your party isn't banned because of democrasy, the same democrasy you want to destroy, ironic isn't it?
