When it comes to men I am looking for quite something different, especially personality wise, when compared to women.

Physically:
Well, let's say I prefer if their BMI is roughly equal to mine.
About same height(altough I won't mind being shorter, yet while I generally prefer being shorter with women I prefer if a guy is roughly the same height.)
Somewhat athletic(or at least, someone that is into exercising like me)
Preferably fair skinned and European(preferably British, Nordic or Baltic)
Haircolour or length doesn't really matter.

In short, a sort of role model, someone that I can look up to and that motivates me to behave and deal with the world in a similar manner. He doesn't have to tell me he loves me, I don't have to see him every day, or even speak every day. To be exact, I am more looking for a sort of romantic friendship then anything else.

Worldview/Religiousity/Background:
Preferably something "left"-wing, anarchism, syndicalism, socialism, etc. But not fanatical.
Religion doesn't matter(preferably atheist or something along lines of religious apathy).
Preferably someone of a poor background, while some of them might act a bit awkward in settings they are not used to I tend to appreciate their tendency to gain satisfaction from things certain people(usually upper class folks) take for granted.

I met someone a month or two ago who fit what I thought was my "ideal guy" almost to the letter and, well... the decision to just be friends was indeed mutual.

But I can say I don't usually tend to like particularly effeminate men, at least in terms of appearance. I dislike tattoos, piercings, and overly long hair, or hair that's styled odd. Those ear stretcher things are absolutely disgusting.
I'd like them to have similar political beliefs and religious beliefs, obviously. They need to be a generally nice person, and it'd be nice if we had a lot of the same interests, because then we'd have stuff to talk about.

Okay, fine, I'll post in one of these threads.

I don't really have a specific appearance in mind, but I definitely find men who are both tall and pale to be more attractive. I also tend to like my men with a bit of muscle, enough to show that they're healthy but not so much as to seem like they spend every hour of their free time at the gym. I've noticed that I also seem to enjoy facial features that are an odd combination of Asian and European - I enjoy the European facial shape, but the Asian mouth and nose. Also, strait soft hair is amazing, but not too long, only to the shoulders at most. Unless they tie it back regularly.

Personality-wise, they'd have to be reasonably kind and understanding with me, as well as have the usual devoted and loyal characteristics. They'd also want and be able to put up with my anxious emotional bullfuckery, and would find such responses to events both endearing and logical. They'd also be able to put up with me still making horrible meme jokes a year later, and the fact that most of the time I'm on the same level emotionally as a sociopathic six-year-old child.

Anyone I chose as my significant other would also have to be quite close to me in terms of politics and religion, which is the second main reason I'm going to die a lonely virgin in a bed of cats.
