However since nobody was smart enough to investigate and do something about it we need to take preventive measures before ANOTHER unstable pseudo-democratic Islamist-influenced state gets them. The last thing the world needs is more nuclear weapons.
On the other hand in the unlikely scenario that Iran actually does develop nuclear weapons, the Supreme Council as opposed to Ahmadumbfuckijad would have the final say in whether or not to launch and they have much more vested interest in preserving their power and existence. It's only a pervasive "Durka Durka, Mohammed Jihad!" stereotype that implies Iran would nuke Israel the second it had viable weapons. If anything Iran being nuclear would snap Israel out of its Blank Check Dickwaving that it has by virtue of U.S. support and its own nuclear arsenal.
The best possible scenario is one where The Green Path of Hope topple Ahmadinejad and the Supreme Council and then develop nukes anyway, because Israel then cannot launch offensive attacks without being hit massively by the international community in response.
Attacking a genuine nuclear-armed democracy would be too insane even for Netanyahu.
As are all arguments about why Iran should never be allowed nuclear weapons.
