Also, Obama has a 92% success rate in investments over the past four years.

Romney's stint in Bain was 76%.

So much for Romney being a better businessman.

Irrelevant. We know what happened and this is about the response, not the cause. Just admit you're wrong and that President Obama can actually be right sometimes. It's the adult thing to do.

An amusing aside, but it appears, according to Twitter, that Romney, in his last, desperate hour, has called upon the Elder Gods themselves to help him win the election.

So according to Stephen Colbert, analyst Nate Silver (who picked 49 out 50 states correctly in 2008) says 83% likely Obama wins.

17% less than I have it, but there ya go.

Also, wasn't the mainstrem media hype in 2008 was that it was going to be razor-thin, when it turned out Obama would win by a landslide?

Just sayin.

Seriously, Nate Silver has made me fucking lazy about this. Perhaps in the same way that I imagine (because I don't follow baseball) people complain sabermetrics took some of the fun and mystique out of baseball, Silver's application has done that with me.

Because there was a discussion comparing Romney supporters now and Kerry supporters in 2004 and I was going to be all, "Yeah, but when it got to this point I kinda knew..." But...did I? I remember being kind of depressed come Wednesday. I know I was active here arguing, I don't remember if I accepted the reality of the situation until it was real in 2004.

But 2010, man, I knew exactly how bad that was going to be and Tuesday was just the confirmation of that. What changed? Silver. Now I just look at that shit and go, "Well, that's where things are at."

I don't get to look super smart making predictions and analyzing this or that, I hit "fi" in the awesome bar and return and Nate Silver tells me where the odds are and I go, "Well, okay, that's where it's at."

All that voodoo that apparently foisted me in 2004 when the writing was on the wall, it obfuscated enough that I was still able to watch results going, "What will happen?" instead of how I've watched 2008 and 2010 going 'Yeah, that's pretty much what we thought..."

I want to be able to again flip over to Fox when Ohio gets close to being 'called' and watch Karl Rove get a sad.

Seriously, not to get into the false equivalency game, having two stations that have taken a partisan stand has made results nights a little entertaining in that you get to flip back and forth between a party and a wake.
