I'm not in the habit of defending other people's arguments. If you want to make a point, you provide the evidence which supports it. You don't pull statements out of your arse then demand that others justify them for you.

No, you said:the Judge said they were not used to alcohol
Which was false. You know, the opposite of the truth. The reason he gave for giving them a suspended sentence is right there in the article and has fuck all to do with their religion, making this case utterly irrelevant to this thread.

Are you really that ignorant to think that the outcome would be the same had it been the other way around? So yes it does have to do with their religion.

The women claimed that they were racially abused, which the judge dismissed. So yes, it does work the 'other way round' too, but apparently you are too ignorant to read your own sources - or maybe just too ignorant to pick up on the parts that don't fit in with your own narrow worldview.

Or rather the truth of the whole case doesn't fit with Your own very selective narrow worldview

What 'truth' would this be? The truth laid out in the article you misquoted, or the alleged truth that only exists in your own mind and which you are claiming you can't be bothered to prove because you know yourself that you're wrong?

It's bad when a right winger can misquote the Daily Mail.

So now that its been clearly demonstrated that that your initial post was unhindered by pesky facts, what exactly are the EDL here to save British people like myself from?

From people like Anjem Choudary and the Islam4Uk movement (I trust I don't need a left wing source to back up the reality of these people) and the government's spineless inability to effectivley combat Islamic extremism which is an ever growing trend amongst our (I am British citizen too) Muslim communities. Injustices such as the said case and many others like it may become a re-occurence if the government and the people do nothing. At least the EDL (however shit they're doing it) are trying to raise awareness of this matter while everyone else stays quiet. Now I'm not planning on rambling all night so I'm off to bed now. And no Witty antics while I'm gone and that goes for both of you

well if they did they'd need to change the name, for a start.
Every time I see these guys. English Defence League is part of that mess and WE have nothing to do with them.

It is agencies like theirs that inadvertently allow the opposition to gain strength as well. Although they are Anti-Islamic; they are also against us, as are European Defence Leagues...for they are "...committed to countering extremism, wherever it be found....will guard against anything that would threaten our diverse and tolerant nations....are anti-extremist, anti-fascist, and anti-racist."
