The EDL are still about AFAIK but I gather that UKIP is the only "righter than the conservative party" party that's still going strong. I think that the EDL has many racist members who are there just because of them "funny coloured people" but I also think there are real concerns in British politics of a soft attitude on Islam I mean when you have George Galloway winning a seat in parliament because he successfully argued that he was "a better muslim" than the Labour candidate I sort of get worried about the political state of Bradford! (where the By election was held) That being said I in no way support them but I do think any religion getting involved with politics is a Bad Idea.
