FACT: We can't trust our thoughts if they are randomly created by "biochemistry" and "science."

if our thoughts were generally unreliable, we'd be extremely unlikely to survive for long in a dangerous world.
we do survive pretty well, thank you very much.
therefore either our thoughts are generally reliable or we don't live in a dangerous world.
to claim we don't live in a dangerous world requires us to posit ourselves existing in a way such that our shared experiences in no way reflect what is actually going on and the fiction we somehow experience together just so happens to give us the appearance of surviving danger. it requires us to imagine that we effectively exist in 2 totally different universes at once. and it requires that those universes function in this odd way for no particular reason at all.
this is a shittier explanation than us living in this world and our thoughts being generally reliable.
shittier explanations are less likely to be true than good ones.
therefore, until we have some halfway decent reason to think otherwise, we should accept the claim 'our thoughts are generally reliable'.
