Exactly. So the First World will be unaffected while the Third World continues to starve.
And sadly, nothing will change.

No, the First World will be affected.

Depending on where they live, they usually get their protein from bush meat or fish. Then again, we're already fucking with their fish supply.

How about eat salmon instead

Well, I'm safe, considering that animal products are the only thing Icelandic agriculture can produce and we produce more than we eat of it.

Not likely since they're all pretty intelligent.

Their populations will drop a lot because so many have been bred to docility and reliance on us such as your standard grow in a few months and kill cow.

Chickens and pigs should do fine but our massive herds of cows, no. And they will slowly die off as we use less and less water for them. Not necessarily die off, but they will have much smaller populations.

EDIT
It's a bit like the breeds of caribou/reindeer we use for food. We've bred them to have longer if I am not mistaken pregnancies, making their babies more developed. Note: Getting this from that "when humans are gone" or whatever that one movie/show was I watched really high. The wild ones have shorter pregnancies so the "domestic" ones, even when back in the wild, with their feral brethren, would be left behind and die out due to long pregnancies. It's differences like that.

Of course. There are tens and billions of them. What this has to do with what I said, I'm not sure.

That is true... But cows at least are not quite intelligent. We've bred them purposely to be stupid.

Yeah, fish and other aquatic food is probably the hardest to save. Cattle and food from farms can continue production if there's enough water. For fish, the problem is dirty water and it's almost impossible cleaning up the ocean like that.

Bullshit. They understand cause and effect relationships, a hallmark of high cognitive abilities. They learn rapidly and even get excited when they do so. They form complex social groups, have hierarchies, and even hold grudges. And this is just what we've learned so far.

Are they stupid? I meant, all they do is eat, sleep, and have sex instead of being hunt by predators in the wild. The only way they get angry is when you abuse them or when they are packed in closed spaces.

You don't need to be an engineer or an artist to be smart. Philosophers don't design anything. Are they stupid?

The fact that is your reply without any sense of irony though I confess there might be a palpable aura of evasion is very sad.

No, I understood your post. And I didn't evade anything. The photo was a reply to your post. Your post was so asinine that I just had to laugh.
