We already have starving Africans now, whenever the rain fails and aid does not arrive, thank you.

And there are other reasons for it not arriving than just Corn being too pricey or something. Including - but not limited to - transportation-networks simply not existing or being marked as 'seasonal'.

You are assuming that the problems relate to choices made. It's no such thing, although bad choice can make a bad situation worse.

Have you ever compared the profile of Africa-as-a-continent with Europe-as-a-continent?

Or compared the number of navigable rivers on either?

Because calling people carnivores when they are omnivores in an attempt to elicit predatorial imagery isn't flaming at all, but using an argument as to why wide spread vegeterianism would mean the extinction of several species is.

There is no need for any of us to worry about this one bit. The human population after all is not evenly distributed around the globe. Rather as a rule the better living standards are in a nation the less its population grows over time. In other words, by the time our population reaches 9x109 the world population will be even more canted toward poor or semi poor regions of the world (poorer bits of India and Asia, Africa etc.) And it's not like the first, or even second world looses any sleep over people out there starving today. And today we could solve their problem without a significant drop in living standards. So we people (people with a decent internet connection implying a generally 1st or 2nd world standard of living) have nothing to worry about even if human population reaches 20x109. They do.

And have been a healthy part of the human diet pretty much everywhere across the world other than Europe since before written history. Personally I always wanted to try roaches my self. But newer could find any good recipes for them.
