No not really I am just moving on from 1860 to well now.....
Well I got to live with you and you with me for the rest of our pitiful lives....
At least I will fight for the cause...

The whole point of the OP is that Stalinism fundamentally goes against major communist principles and is therefore not communist.

No you won't, you'll fight for reactionary and backwards goals long since proved to be utter failures, rooted in a fundamental contempt for the proletarian lives that you falsely claim to represent and advance.

That's ridiculous. All i'm doing then is entertaining ideas that are inherently broken and even immoral. It's just like bring a flat-earther to debate a Geologist like he actually has a valid point to make. It's intellectually insulting.

You've fundamentally misrepresented my point. I said you have to familiarise yourself with its principles.
Familiarisation doesn't imply agreeing with them or treating them as valid, it involves acquiring an understanding of what those principles are so as to better be able to rebut them.
What's intellectually insulting is you refusing to read an OP because it conflicts with your view and then making points already dealt with in the OP because you don't want to read it or read up on why you're wrong.

I love how people delude themselves into thinking that anyone that disagrees with them must be trolling.CTALNH wrote:Of the Free Socialist Territories wrote:

I know you didn't, which is why I quoted him specifically. Back to your last post, though. I already know the fundementals of communism. There is no money, state, or class, and everyone is happy. That can't be done one day, which is why you need extreme control of government to fade all of that out. Slalin tried that and he failed because the ideology he loved so much was not in line with human nature and the power he gained ultimately led to him killing 20 million people. If any ideology leads to killing people whether it is nazism or communism, then it is not worthy of any real debate for the "perfect" society. I'll entertain liberals and socialism in debates because they actually have sound principles that could work. Communism had its chance and proved itself to be an inherent evil. Anyone who thinks otherwise probably failed every history class they took.Of the Free Socialist Territories wrote:CTALNH wrote:Your not helping it fail though....
How is presenting a realistic and free alternative to capitalism, as opposed to a worse tyranny and even less freedom for workers, not helping it fail?
Also, last time I checked, you weren't exactly an active international revolutionary either. Also stop talking to the other guy his trolling you....

Funnily enough, I didn't.
