Yeah...I guess nuance is not part of your vocabulary. I don't actually care about your age, I do care about what you can bring to the table. Sadly in your case not very much at all because you show a startling lack of even basic knowledge of not only politics but economics, philosophy, cognition and I am sure a plethora of other disciplines. I am not asking for much really despite the big words. Even people with a basic understanding of these subjects do not commit the errors you seem to do. Given you just repeat talking points consistently and very badly does nothing but alienate you from the debate. America is at a crossroads now...the survival of the nation is at risk and having ignorant people make comments with no intellectual backing does nothing beyond lowering the debate to the lowest denominator. That, for anything, is not a good thing. I am not ragging on you...I am trying to encourage you to actually think and research, listen and analyse before coming to the big table. Otherwise you will just be considered yet another nutcase...and that is the last thing the United States, and the world, needs.

Don't worry bro... The Global Small Arms Ban Treaty will be signed into law immediately after Obama wins his second term. You will be easy pickings and the government will probably not compensate you for your property that they confinscate under the new Global law. This aside, I don't support this stupidity either, just wanted to comment on how both you and I will probably be screwed no matter who gets elected. We'll both be disarmed by violent and ignorant mobs of party partisans.

Source? Do you even know the process for ratifying treaties? Notwithstanding that the UN failed to get any measure passed on an effectively non binding agreement?

Prussia-Steinbach wrote:So, they are using the Bible in defence of their revolt? Perhaps I should bring out my own verses.

The Apostle Paul, in the Book of Romans, Chapter 13, verses 1-7, wrote:Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Sorry if this comes across as picking on spelling rather than substance, but you just hit a pet peeve of mine.

The right to bear arms involves the right to own weapons, including firearms.

The right to bare arms involves the right to go sleeveless.
