So after 4 hours of opening presents..... another hour of dropping a few hundred presents off to those in need.........I'm pretty much Christmas-ed out...Now even though I'm not of the pagan or Christian persuasion I'm still socially obligated to attend family functions.....

Because of our traditions, we have kept our balance for many, many years. Here in Anatevka, we have traditions for everything: how to how to eat, how to sleep, how to wear clothes. For instance, we always keep our heads covered, and always wear a little prayer-shawl. This shows our constant devotion to God. You may ask, how did this tradition start? I'll tell you. I don't know. But it's a tradition. And because of our traditions, every one of us knows who he is, and what God expects him to do.

Babe, you have no idea how many times I've heard jokes in my old school and work place. When we talk about the Palestinian situation a lot of my compatriots say we should "gass them" or "treat them the way the Germans treated us" because they're the real "untermenschen". Determining whether or not Christianity is monotheistic is difficult, to say the least. Given my knowledge of Christianity, looking through Jewish eyes, I say it is idolatry.
