Do you happen to have a view on the fusion of the messianic and zionist schools into their current form by the way?
I'd be interested in both a political and a scriptural view, as I can quite see how one could for instance deny that scripture gives a mandate to seize the holy land to bring on the messiah, but say that "But since we already did, it would be impractical to force people born in israel to abandon their homes."

I'm not too sure if the opposite could be true though...
