Do Jews mind if people who are not of the Jewish faith happen to be there? Like if a member of the family/community invited a friend who wasn't Jewish?

becasue evraim is a smart and thoughtful young woman. she s able to express her thoughts about Judaism quite well. She also seems to understand more than her branch of jewish thought, and is able to offer commentary while understanding more than just her point of view.

Note: I don't mean to say I want a Jewish friend solely to go Passover. However, it's a situation I'd like to change, mostly to have someone to talk about the Old Testament/Torah with.
The Old Testament, to me, seems like the really dark side of the Christian God. Maybe there's something I'm missing?
