I prefer it to say English because it focuses more on root words and prefixes and suffixes than English does.
Not saying English doesn't have prefixes, suffixes, and root words but Hebrew seems to be only made up of these.

You must not know me
Also Matter=things=stuff.
Also in ancient Hebrew.
For example
"וישא את הדברים", it literaly says "stuff" but relates to words.
But the word itself doesn't mean words, we can also say ויאכל את הדברים, when it refers to food.

Loh my friend:
אֵלֶּה הַדְּבָרִים, אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר מֹשֶׁה = These are the words which Moses spoke
It also means matters which again can also mean stuff... but how weird would it be if my Tanach said: "These are the stuff that Moshe said"

By the way, what is your opinion about the Great Revolt & Bar Kokhba Revolt? I know the the Talmud opposed them and found them unjustified and it's heros un-heroic. I'm asking you for being Orthodox since lately, many Orthodox-Zionist Jews now say the opposite of the Talmud's opinion even though Orthodox Judaism finds it as "God's words".
I know it has nothing to do with what we are talking about but still. (By the way, if you have noticed, my signature was edited by Yohanan MiGush Halav)

Just like the Talmud my friend, we are all about tangents
I don't know where you see that they opposed the revolt, they opposed what happened at Masada... most Torah Jews do... I mean Rabbi Akiva thought Bar Kochba might have even been the Moshiach until of course he was.... killed by the Romans.

Actually it is unknown how Bar Kokhba was killed:
-Jerusalem Talmud says a snake bit him.
-Eusebius says he was executed by the Romans
-Babylon Talmud says that the Rabbis killed him after it was discovered he wasn't the messiah (But scholars think this is absolutely not what happened)
Most scholars think though that he WAS executed by the Romans but we don't REALLY know that.

Does the Babylonian Talmud really say that?

Son of Koziba ruled three and half years. He told them (The rabbis) "I'm the messiah!". They told him that "A messiah divinely judges, let's see if you judge divinely". They they saw he didn't judge divinely they killed him.
