When Southampton were in the Premiership they heard about this player who was rated to be totally awesome. Instead of scouting him and letting him play a reserves match the manager had him on the subs bench. He came on in the second half (I think) and about ten minutes later was taken off again because it was clear the guy was utterly useless at playing football.

b) There are a couple of reasons for this and nothing to do with his ability but more with the team set up. Having said that he did score two hat tricks this year already...finally it seems that Argentina are playing to his strengths...he is now finally scoring goals. Like yesterday against Germany. Of course the real measure is in comps and not friendlies really. Having said that I would put some money down on him getting the Golden Boot in 2014, if I was a gambling man.
