"We're a very nationalistic nation," Webb said of America. "But we've also lost over time that jingoistic feeling."
Jingoism is extreme patriotism in the form of aggressive foreign policy.[1] In practice, it is a country's advocation of the use of threats or actual force against other countries in order to safeguard what it perceives as its national interests. Colloquially, it refers to excessive bias in judging one's own country as superior to others – an extreme type of nationalism.

Exactly. I thought this bit at the end of the HuffPo article interesting:"We're a very nationalistic nation," Webb said of America. "But we've also lost over time that jingoistic feeling."

Am I the only one who clicked on the link? In which part did they 'defend mass murderers'?

I suppose in the part where Napolitano says it wasn't "domestic terrorism" and describes Page as "a disgruntled nut-job." I imagine that's what Page's defense team would have said, were he not dead.

That's a former judge being picky over legal definitions, not advocating mass murder - as implied. Fox News get up to enough shenanigans that baseless slander like the above isn't really necessary, regardless if it is hip to rag on them.
The fact that the same poster advocates spitting on another human being for having a differing opinion is also disparaging. Civility is a virtue that separates us from animals.

An pundit on Fox News attacked gymnast Gabby Douglas for donning a pink leotard as opposed to the good ol' stars and stripes. Yeah, what the hell is wrong with her? I mean, I thought she was from Svalbard. According to him, this is indicative of the "soft anti-Americanism" that is prevalent in modern society.
Uhh...are Fox News commentators even serious? What the hell?
It's truly amazing that so many Americans would watch Fox more than any other news network. Do they tune in for laughs? Oh wait, I know. Go to Youtube, type in "Fox News" and look at the suggestions. Quality legs/boobs, er, uh, journalism.

Now we define patriotism by how many times you've gotten the American flag tattooed on your penis.
God bless motherfucking America.
You don't need a flag on your penis anymore... for example if you lost your penis due to ink poisoning from too many flag-tattoos.
