With the amount of innocents killed around the world in the last few years - for the 'glory' of that flag, I can see why she wouldn't want to be associated with it. Having said that, this is a sporting spectacle and politics needs to be kept at a minimum with the main focus being on the achievements of the athletes, who dedicate their lives in pursuit of their sporting dreams.

I have, but they're of that generation that came before television, and when the television did come, the news never lied or had bias. It was just news.
