It's the healthiest thing I could base my diet around. It provides carbohydrates without increasing blood sugar. I didn't know about the other parts, but it as good as it gets.
So you're admitting that you have no idea if your "healthy diet" is actually healthy, and that the foods you eat have just as many side-effects as the lettuce and carrots you so proudly avoid?
By the way, in order to get even 50% of your daily protein using oatmeal, you would need to consume 500% of your daily folic acid (1 cup of oatmeal = 106% DV folate; 9% DV protein). Seizures, confusion, irritability, sleep disorders, and diarrhea are the common side effects of folate overdose.
Of course, if you choose to get less than 100% of your DV protein (approx. consuming 1200% of your daily folate), you're wrecking your immune system, your muscular system, your psychological health, and your physical stamina.
Your oatmeal-based miracle-diet sounds like absolute shit. Have fun picking between two pretty awful sets of health problems.
