Except it never says that. You can't just add things to scripture that aren't there.

You DO realize that only specific animals can hibernate due to their anatomy, right? Even hibernating, most animals would starve.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

I think once we reach the point of the argument where it boils down to "but god could have made it happen" then we're pretty much done.

Hrm. Wrapped this one up on the first page. Not bad.

The bible says that the water covered the highest mountains, so it would be higher then 20 000 feet above sea level, killing all reptiles due to cold and killing everything else due to lack of oxygen

It didn't have to mention that. The animals just walked by themselves. That pretty much says it there.

The fact that four posts appeared in the two minutes following my post suggests that my direct contribution to the longevity of the thread is rather minimal. But maybe it will stop some people from bothering to engage in an extended argument, which is what threads live on.

By killing them by starvation? Yeah, sounds legit.

Indeed. The original argument is predicated on "well, the marine life could have just stayed in the water". At levels with sufficient oxygen for them to survive they'd be crushed like a bug.

Goalpost hath been moved. How much more before we are done. Also it was brought up that after they got on land lions would have killed a lot of animals. Also Kangaroo's how do you do that thing you do in Australasia. Air would have been filled with water after flood, Genetic Bottle-necking, Poo problems, Fish problem.

God could've made them not starve until they got back to their homes. How do you know that God doesn't have that power? You underestimate God's power.

What did they all eat when they got off the ark? Flood kills vegetation=herbivores die=carnivores die=no life. This is obviously wrong, which makes me question the whole premise of the flood.

We're not talking about how he got the animals there. By the way, did the Ark carry marine animals? If not, how did they survive the combination of sea and fresh water the flood would have created?

How do you know the flood would kill vegetation? Vegetation can survive underwater.
