Same thing could be said about the Bible. After all, it is full of myths and fictional stories. Such as earth being created in one week, or all of humanity being descended from two people.

And yet is still just about as true as the bible.
I am a Wiccan. Do not assume I am an Atheist in Religion threads simply because I support complete Secularization of Government Entities.

Social Libertarian (could care less about Economics, there are people who are more educated at it, so it is a waste of time to try and debate me on it.). As stated above I am a Wiccan, and I find solidarity with the Egyptian Deities. I support government secularization as well as complete freedom of religion, as I believe that to truly be secular, the state must respect all beliefs, and favor none. And I recently enlisted in the United States Navy.

Word things better? I asked "Why the hell does this topic exist?" and explained why I think it shouldn't.

I think you'd rather ask why the Council of Nicea was so remarkable.

Catholic school raised atheist, reporting in.

Christian raised Atheist signing in.

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. - Washington Irving

If you get enough people to believe it to be true, you can make any work of fiction become accepted by a large population.

Sure, there will always be those that'll say it's a load of crap, but then the believers will just call them infidels.

Hmm, this kind of sounds familiar.

That is true, but, I think I did a good job stating why religion has no place on the internet.

This thread is not about whether religion has place or not on the net. So, if you wish to continue this line of thought, maybe you should make a thread.
