I was casually on the internet and looked up a game where you could play god. This was the closest it got.

I'm not sure, it was about 9 years ago that I registered my first nation, but I think it was linked from another forum I was on at the time.

Someone on a forum I used to go on made a topic about it. About twenty of us came here. I soon discovered the forums. Everyone else is either just doing issues or slowly disappearing.
Economic Left/Right -9.75, Social Libertarian/Authoritarian -8.87

I was studying for a human geography test I had the next day on political geography. The first thing in the chapter was about nationstates, so I looked up Nationstates on google. The first thing that came up was this site. All in all, I didn't do much studying that night.

It was 2006 (I wish I remembered my first nation name, now), and I was reading a political forum for fans of 1984. Someone posted about it, and I came. Basically did nothing with my nation, though

I typed into Google trying to find a good military game. This is the best it got. The others were MMORPG's.

One of my friends was looking up ace combat and found the “Your Countries Most Powerful Weapon” thread as a Google option. After looking through the next day he told me about these crazy nutcases who were on the internet. Well about a week later I joined. Now a few months later almost all of my buds our nutcases. ;)

Was looking for nation simulation games after being disappointed with other ones and found this one.
