That would be true if removing it didn't also kill it. Does she have the right to kill it? If you say it's because she has to provide and care for it in some kind of parasitic relationship then shouldn't we be able to kill infants? All a baby does is cry and poop, essentially enslaving the parents to his or her whim for several months. Isn't that pretty parasitic?

In effect, yes. If I don't donate my kidney right now, some kid with a disease somewhere is going to die. Does that mean I have to? Hell no, it's my body, I decide what goes on inside it. Same thing applies to abortion.

This is a debate. I am debating. That means that instead of dropping statements of opinion as if they are fact, making accusations of abuse, and pretty much ignoring what's gone on for the past thirty pages, I am in fact answering points of the argument, supporting my opinion with actual sources and logical explanations of my position, and not replying to inconvenient posts with 'Yea right", "No u", and "Well you'll find out."

The baby is viable - it can be removed from its mother and cared for by other people. A nonviable fetus will die if removed from the host body, even if it was inserted in another host body. Unless someone knows of a successfull fetus transplantantion. If you do, please quote source. I know it happens in scifi, but in real life?

A girl of sexual maturity has emotions, contemplates complex thought, and ponders their existence.

A fetus does not think. Thus it is lesser than the mother in all aspects.

Regardless when a mod makes a post it makes a person wonder just because they are a mod.

It's this thing called context... like when you joined near the end of the thread and ignored the fact that I've been posting here the whole time, or that there was any thread between the very first post and your answer to it.

I certainly hope you're not going to suggest that I should not debate because you can't tell the difference between me pointing out that your argument needs work and me telling you you broke a rule, because that's simply not going to happen.

Personally I love seeing the mods participating the threads. Not only because a lot of them are sensible folks (at least outside of Forum 7

), but also because it means that anyone actually breaking rules will be taken to task sooner rather than later.
