Well, the best chance you have for making abortions non-existent is to get people to stop fucking.

Exactly.

We just have to try harder with abstinence education.

So make an idea that people can buy. Namely, contraception.

If you are raped, yes abortion. If you are the woman and you eat babies, then eat it before they are born if you want. If abortion is self-applied in private, also yes abortion. Otherwise, no abortion.

I'm 16, just had to deal with that shit. It is WORTHLESS. I KNOW, you can get STDs. I KNOW you can have kids. I KNOW that's miserable. I am just mutually hated in my school and therefore will be forever single. But stop boring me to death with shit I DON'T CARE ABOUT! You're just inspiring people to do it, because they're told it's a bad thing, and I know as a teenager that most teenagers (except for those abnormal people who are obsessed with doing god... those people scare the shit out of me...) LOVE breaking rules and doing things adults claim are 'bad'. So just DON'T BRING IT UP, and WE WON'T EITHER!

This applies to a lot of things.

If that was sarcasm forgive this small rant.

Bokcha wrote:It should be illegal unless it threatens the life of the mother or is a result of rape. People calling unborn children "parasites" and claiming a mother has the right to kill their offspring in the name of "women's rights" is not only abominable but a gross misunderstanding of the terms involved. You can try to justify the hedonistic and savage reasons the majority of people get abortions by shouting such phrases, but anyone with any sort of moral compass will not be fooled.

tl;dr:
Rape: Yes
Life-Threatening: Yes
Anything Else: No

Edit: I'm an atheist, by the way, so my view is not the result of religious influence. I am also not a republican. So don't play either of those cards on me, please.

I agree with the fact the abortion is only okay if you was raped our its life Threatening, but the problem is that if they want a abortion there a chance they will just say the was raped and the police will have to investgate it and it will waste the police time if they wasn' even raped

How much of human progress has been about dodging consequences? The entire field of medicine is about escaping the consequences of being sick or injured. We live in sturdy building to escape the consequences of exposure to the elements. We have manufacturing and production industries so we can escape the consequences of not being able to make the things we want with our own two hands. You've spent this entire thread escaping the consequences of living hundreds of miles away from the people you've been talking to.

No. It is very important that people understand sex. That you find it boring or don't think you're going to get laid any time soon is irrelevant.

The thing abstinence refers to is sex, not commitment.

How about this.

“Attempts to impose narrow moralistic views about sex and sexuality on young people through sex education have failed.”

It's in bold letters for you.

Enjoy their sexuality? What kind of nonsense is this? Are you teaching the dangers of sex or are you just letting them do whatever they want?

Considering it says...

It is widely accepted that young people have a right to sex education. This is because it is a means by which they are helped to protect themselves against abuse, exploitation, unintended pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV and AIDS.

You're whining over nothing.
