For the last couple of weeks U.F.O.s have been spotted. Sightings said the object was cubed shaped and had green and purple lights. Two oak trees are missing and some people said they were abducted. If you have any info about this strange U.F.O. then quickly reply. If this is an extra-terrestrial species, and if they aren't friendly, we might get ourselves in an inter-galactic war...

Are there aliens? Probably.

Have they made it to Earth? Probably not.

I highly doubt that the vast majority of the claimed "U.F.O" sightings are legitimate. I also doubt that if other sentient life came to Earth and was able to communicate with us, that they would do so while being aware that the state of our species is so unstable that we would try to drive them away. I can't help but think that if they've reached such a point in technology, then they'd be dumb enough to send one like ours into a tizzy. I also can't help but feel that their bodies would (most likely) be better suited for other planets, thus, there would be genuine complications with being on or possibly even near the planet. And, obviously, with all of our languages, communication would be difficult, making us even less ideal for such interaction.

Here's the thing.

If an alien species, assuming that such a species exists, is advanced enough to fly across vast interstellar distances and investigate other worlds to establish whether they support life or not, then surely, if they had hostile intentions, they'd be advanced enough to destroy us without any chance of defeat or damage to themselves, and advanced enough to ensure that we never saw them?

Also, you don't need to steal entire trees to evaluate them, particularly if you're advanced enough to fly across vast tracts of space.

So, in summary, these unsourced "UFO" sightings over the past few weeks seem to me to be a bullshit story, and if they're not and hostile aliens do exist and are intent upon attacking Earth, there's bugger all we can do to save ourselves.

So relax, have a barbecue, and if the world dies in flames then just deal with it.
