The U.S. is off limits for BBC showing that, so that means it probably only lets the UK see the Olympics.

B) You will cease and desist with these false accusations of trolling immediately.
C) This is a private site, and your 'freedoms' are therefore limited by the site rules; you are only allowed to express your opinion so long as you adhere to these site rules.
D) Your attitude in this thread is neither helpful not clever, and you would do yourself and everyone else here a favour if you were to take a moment to cool down.
I am not letting anyone be rude to me, okay? So, please stop. If you look and read, you'll see that Krytenia said that first.

If I'd have cable, why would I watch it on the internet and not on cable? NBC is saying that they only let you watch their channel if you have a better channel that broadcasts the Olympics. Or, in other words, they're broadcasting it for no one, as no one will watch it.

That is ridiculous for what is supposed to be apublic service broadcasterprofit-driven enterprise. For the love of God, IOC, let ABC or CBS take the rights. Let's face it, they can't do worse...

ABC or CBS would do the same thing.
I hate to be cynical here, but in the US televsion is all about making money. No matter what the programming is.

The NHS segment was seen as a particular cause of complaint.
A lot of the American commentary I've read online seems to think that the NHS segment was directly aimed at the anti-Obamacare side in the US.
Because, you know, the planet revolves around US domestic politics.

PS Edit: the NHS segment had a massive, inflatable Voldemort (Macy's Day Parade, anyone?) The whole segment was a nightmare, really.
