Yes - they've been readmitted to full test status, though theyr'e finding it hard to schedule tests. I know they played a short series against Bangladesh recently.

But perhaps we're taking this topic a little far from the Olympics at this point?

Twas but my last question on the matter, milud/milady.

On another note, the athlete who feel over in the women's 400m Hurdles was called Vania Stambolova...

Is that ironic with her last name? Stambolova..sounds like stumble..

Anyways, she tested positive for testosterone a few years back, don't exactly feel sorry for her.

Regrettably not - she's currently in third, and we're waiting for a final score that could take her out of the medals entirely.

Edit:

And that final score will be for Gabrielle Douglas. Oh dear.

Edit 2:

Miss Douglas' outfit is, umm, shiny. Very shiny.

Not every Olympics. The tiger cubs from Seoul in 88 were pretty cool.

So a random blog from the internet that mentions just one of the two cubs is irrefutable proof that I am wrong?

I ask again - why is darts not an Olympic sport? Or snooker?

It makes me a bit sad to see things like dressage on the ticket but none of my favorite sports, save football. At least there'll be Rugby Sevens come the Rio olympics.

It is pitiful to see Equestrian as a sport in the Olympics...as well as Synchronized Swimming, Shooting, and Trampoline.

Might as well add Chess, Bowling, and Underwater Basket Weaving.

Honestly, cannot wait for Golf and Rugby to be added in Rio's 2016 Olympics. :D

Because they have to become sports before they can be Olympic sports.

Call me when they do.

Perhaps, but since Britain's just this second won our first gold medal in showjumping in 60 years, it can stay in for now. ;)

Not sure how snooker, for example, is any less of a sport than table tennis or horse jumping.

Snooker is a pub game, hardly a sport.

Or darts? It's played in a pub, sure - but the difference between it and target archery is pretty much just that one uses a tool to get the missile from point A to point B and one doesn't.

and Germany's won 2 golds from it and a bronze, so I really shouldn't be complaining.

Next thing you know, though, they're going to add a dog show competition.
