If the OP wouldn't mind, add South Asian to the poll. I never understand how Middle Eastern is different from Asian though geographically not true, but South Asian is limited in. I'd contend we're as different from what prior consider Asian as Middle Easterners are.

I was just on the "When were you born?" thread and noticed that there are a lot of young people on here. It got me thinking about what ethnicity everybody is. I'm also curious as to where everybody is from.

Born in Sri Lanka but that's because Maldivian doctors are despicably incompetent and my Mom was right not to trust them. Dunno my ethnicity. Various mix of Sinhalese, Farsi, Arabic like most other folks here I imagine.

It's because I'm enrolling as a liberal arts major. Numbers no longer make sense to me.
