No, the Britons from Brittany are Brythonic, based on their language, and are actually descended from people from Sub-Roman Britain, who weren't related to the Irish. The Irish are Goidelic, meaning they speak a Q-Celtic language versus the Brythonic P-Celtic.

Go back a few thousand years and you realize that you do have African ancestors. However, that is not what you meant. You almost certainly have Asian ancestors. The Mongols got all the way to Poland. Given several hundred years, most europeans would likely be descended from one or more of them.

I support either full statehood or full independence. None of this "in-between commonwealth" crap.

But, if I had to pick one of the two, I would say Statehood. Puerto Ricans are already American citizens, so making us a State would be easier. Also, it would be more beneficial if we were a state than if we were on our own.
