I have most of my family's history (at least in the US) down, but there are enough seemingly unfillable blank spaces that anything could be lurking in them.

Spain is Southern Europe?

Under the United Nations geoscheme, yes, it is, although it shares a lot of culture with Western Europe. But then again, think of how similar it is to somewhere like Italy. Its hard to define.

Nationally I'm pure American since I was born in the same county I'm currently living in, ethnically I'm English, Irish and German. Grand mother from England, great Aunt from County Cork, Ireland and great grand parents from Stuttgart, Germany. Not sure of Dad's ancestry except that his distant ancestors were Yorkists since that's were my surname comes from.

American, like most of NS. My ancestors hail from Ausburg, Bavaria. My German grandfather immigrated to the US in the 50s. I also have Norman and Scandinavian. I've also got a little Blackfoot tribe in me. My grandmother is of Native American descent.

The Norman ancestors, unfortunately, comes from the French Canadians. That's the worst kind of Canadian. At least they came to the senses and realized that being French Canadian was terrible. And then they moved to Upstate New York.

Latin American, far closer to white than to Mestizo. Descended mostly from Germans and Spaniards (Valencians, Basques, Castillians and Moriscos).

Italy is pretty diverse from region to region in itself, and Southern Italy also as a lot of Spanish influence so that's another reason for the similarities. I definitely would classify Spain as Western Europe though.

Lol. But my mother's side moved to Hawaii when they moved her. My grandpa was 100% native Hawaiian, he married my Grandma (an Irish Immigrant) and skip forward you have me.

According to family folklore, supposedly, there are Mohawks in the family somewhere. I haven't found them yet.
