I'm English (with a healthy cut of Scottish tied in) and German. My ancestors arrived in the American South in the 1600's and have over the course of American History, moved west like many others. The English section came from virtually every walk of life and every part of England (The Scottish coming from mostly the borderlands) The German side comes from Southern Germany (ironic?) and from what little I know came from the small town of Neuengronau.

HOLY HUGE EDIT: Browsed through and forgot to mention Choctaw, damn my restlessness. (I have at this point only found two direct relatives and am continuing my research)

My blood is composed of the greater part of Northern/Western Europe. My Danish, German, and Irish heritages are the ones I feel closest to, but there are many others.

As far as I can tell I'm entirely Northern European; Germanic-Celtic, due to Anglo-Saxon (English), Celtic (Irish) and a bit of Norman (Germanic) ancestry.

Lulz Elizabeth Warren did this...at least we know one member on my mother's side is full-blood but no way to really prove it.

I really am descended from Irish...but I don't look like it. Long ago immigration to the US.

Had no idea who Elizabeth Warren was...did a wiki search and a typical claim came up;
Warren said that she had heard family stories about her Cherokee ancestors her entire life

I use to know an American girl who claimed she had some Cherokee ancestry, I questioned her on her claim and she claimed that's what she's been told from family stories. A few months after going back to America she contacted me and said she looked into her "Cherokee" ancestry and it turned out the claim started due to some, in her words "Wacky Uncle" decades ago and alot of the family just accepted it. This is the reason I just had to question your Cherokee claim as I've seen alot more people claim Native American ancestry due to family stories.
